The Gaia organic raspberry variety has an intense flavor and a juicy texture that is very pleasant on the palate. This mouthfeel is partly due to the fineness of the variety’s drupelets. It is a very attractive, bright, short conical fruit with a light tone, giving it an unbeatable appearance of freshness. It belongs in the premium market lines, where appearance and flavor are sought after.
EXPORT: We export from Spain and Portugal to all of Europe by land, and to the Middle East and Southeast Asia by air.

Advantages
Appearance: Fruit with a short, rounded conical shape.
Size: It has a medium size.
Appearance issues: A very uniform berry. It rarely presents sunken drupelets or deformations.
Flavor: Extraordinary. A very pleasant flavor that remains very stable over time. Shelf life: Very long without discoloration or deformation over time.
Yield: High productive potential, superior to current benchmarks. It is a very consistent fruit.
Planting: It is a very versatile variety, allowing for both spring planting with a double harvest (autumn and late spring) and long cane planting in winter with a late winter and spring harvest.
Cultivation and Production:
- Perfect for a clear, attractive raspberry production in an everbearing cycle for the premium segment.
- It is an early and extended production variety. It allows for effective production planning between the months of October and January, and from April to June.
- This primocane variety has great potential in both harvests, and the picking speed is high. The shape of the peduncle makes harvesting very easy, even in adverse weather conditions.
- The plant has leafy vegetation that effectively protects the fruit from the sun’s rays. It is a fruit that is very easy to pollinate and very regular.
- The fruit set is very good, even in very extreme heat conditions. Due to its characteristics, it offers easy and fast harvesting.

One of the brands born from this variety is PINK STAR®. Bionest participates in the development of this premium organic raspberry, which aims to establish itself as the first premium raspberry available 12 months a year.
Pink Star®
The Gaia raspberry variety, also known as Pink Star® Gaia MAR 502, is a primocane raspberry developed with great effort and passion.
This variety has acquired quality recognition. The award from the International Taste Institute in Brussels in May 2024.
Pink Star Gaia is the complement to the other Pink Star Pandora variety.
